O Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show é um dos eventos do mundo da moda mais assistido e celebrado ao redor do mundo. Sendo assim, algumas modelos decidiram se pronunciar sobre isso. Robyn Lawley, modelo plus size, fez um texto em seu Instagram dizendo que criou uma petição para que a Victoria’s Secret passe a incluir modelos com diversos tipos de corpos e tamanhos no seu desfile anual. Na imagem, ela aparece segurando a filha no colo e com a hashtag “Somos Todas Angels”.

“A Victoria’s Secret dominou o espaço por mais de 30 anos, dizendo às mulheres que só há um tipo de corpo bonito. Até que a Victoria’s Secret se comprometa a representar TODAS as mulheres no palco, eu vou incitar um boicote completo do Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show deste ano”, disse a modelo.

Robyn é conhecida por fazer parte do movimento que pede mais representatividade para mulheres fora do padrão dentro da indústria da moda. Ela foi a primeira modelo plus size a aparecer em uma edição da Swimsuit Issue da revista Sports Illustrated’s, em 2015, além disso ela já participou de diversas campanhas e editoriais para revistas.
