Depois de inúmeras edições em Nova Iorque e no último ano, em Paris, o desfile da marca de lingerie segue para Shanghai, na China. Esta será a primeira vez que o show acontece na Asia e será televisionado em mais de 190 países no dia 28 de novembro.

Fashionistas dizem que não é surpresa que o desfile deste ano aconteça na China.

O anúncio foi feito depois de a empresa ter inaugurado as suas duas primeiras lojas no continente chinês, incluindo uma loja modelo em Shanghai, no início de fevereiro, com quatro mais a serem abertas até ao final do ano.

Isso significa muito mais do que inaugurações de lojas, mas reforça que a China é realmente o país que tem muito potencial a ser disseminado pelo mundo. E os gigantes do mercado sabem onde apostar. Preparem-se!

Este é o evento de moda mais visto em todo o mundo – 800 milhões de pessoas sintonizadas em frente ao ecrã.

O investimento no desfile gira em torno dos 12 milhões de dólares, cerca de 10 milhões de euros. Uma quantia considerável tendo em conta que um desfile de moda normal pode custar à volta de um milhão de dólares, cerca de 850 mil euros.

Victoria’s secret, em português, “Segredo de Victoria”, é uma marca de produtos de beleza, fundada em 1977 por Roy Raymond.

A empresa recebe este nome porque seu criador era admirador da rainha Vitória e querendo homenageá-la, nomeou a grife dessa forma.

Atualmente, lingeries da Victoria’s Secret são as mais famosas do mundo.

A inovação

A loja foi criada para atender pessoas de todos os sexos e contava com uma novidade: os clientes que não sabiam o tamanho do manequim da pessoa para qual iria comprar o produto, poderia pedir às vendedoras que experimentassem a peça nos modelos da loja.

Anualmente, desde 1995, geralmente nas últimas semanas de novembro ou dezembro, é realizado o Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, um show de moda que conta com a presença de cantores, atores, críticos da moda e as modelos da grife, que representam a coleção do ano.

Quem são as tão faladas “Angels”?

No ano de 1998 surgiram as angels, símbolo máximo da marca. As angels são as modelos de destaque da marca, sendo essas algumas das mais bem pagas do mundo. São responsáveis por divulgar os produtos da empresa ao redor do mundo e recebem este nome porque, durante os shows da marca, usam ‘asas’.

Mas porque tanta gente assiste esse desfile?

A maioria das mulheres entrevistadas assiste o desfile pois veem empoderamento no evento como um todo.

  624. When I initially left a comment I appear to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now on every time a comment is added I recieve four emails with the exact same comment. There has to be a means you can remove me from that service? Cheers.
