Desfiles são sempre eventos legais, descolados e divertidos para quem gosta de moda, mas poucos são tão fofos quanto este desfile apoiado pela modelo canadense Coco Rocha.

Ele aconteceu no dia 10 de dezembro, em Nova York, e foi organizado pela fundação sem fins lucrativos Runway Heroes, que tem como missão criar desfiles de moda para crianças com câncer, dando uma oportunidade única para que elas se divirtam e ganhem mais autoconfiança.

Além disso, todo o dinheiro arrecadado na venda dos ingressos é destinado à clinicas que pesquisam tratamentos mais eficazes para o câncer infantil.

Dessa vez, o desfile para caridade levou mais de 30 crianças, entre 2 e 12 anos de idade, para a passarela, e a modelo trabalhou como uma mentora para todas as modelos mirins, ensinando a elas como desfilar com seus vestidos criados pela grife Kleinfeld Bridal, conhecida por ser o cenário do reality show “O Vestido Ideal”.

A modelo também levou a filha, Ioni Conran, de apenas 3 anos, para ajudá-la na tarefa. E essa nem foi a primeira vez que Ioni desfilou ao lado da mãe, já que as duas apareceram juntas na Paris Fashion Week, em 2017, no desfile da grife Jean-Paul Gaultier.

Coco usou o Instagram para compartilhar fotos e vídeos do evento e também dizer que estava orgulhosa de todas as pequenas modelos envolvidas no desfile: “Essas lindinhas lutam contra o câncer e arrasam na passarela! Foi muito divertido trabalhar com essas pequenas heroínas”.

A modelo canadense já é reconhecida pela personalidade. Coco foi descoberta aos 14 anos, por um scouter, enquanto participava de um concurso de dança e logo ficou marcada pela agilidade e criatividade na hora de posar para fotografias.

Ela também é conhecida por não esconder o que pensa. Em uma época em que as modelos eram tratadas como musas que não podiam demonstrar sua opinião, a modelo foi contra a regra e utilizou a internet para compartilhar seus pensamentos e ideais.
