Quando eu tinha 5 anos, uma prima me levou para participar de um desfile, e como vocês já sabem, desde então, nunca mais existiu outra profissão pra mim.

Os anos se passaram, alguns sonhos se realizaram, outros se transformaram. Aos vinte e tantos anos eu já sabia que em breve eu precisaria fazer algo a mais da minha vida, mas como me encontrar além da minha grande paixão?

Procurava e em nenhum lugar me achava. Organizei eventos, abri agência de modelos, embarquei nos projetos do maridão.

Escrevi, para tentar me ler.

Ás vezes a gente procura sentido nas palavras, mas parece que todos os pontos são de interrogação.

Eu nunca fui boa em matemática, nem em geografia.

Nunca sonhei em ser advogada ou cientista, mas se tinha algo que me sobrava era criatividade e vontade de mudar o mundo. 

Eu queria falar com as pessoas, eu queria ser ouvida.

Eu queria dizer ás milhares de mulheres o quanto elas eram melhores do que o mundo dizia, em todos os sentidos. Eu sabia que isso ainda seria pouco, mas se pelo menos uma mulher pudesse me ouvir, para mim já seria o suficiente.

Pensando nisso, juntei toda a minha experiência como uma “swimsuit model”, e tudo o que aprendi morando no país onde mais se empreende no mundo, e descobri uma grande paixão.

Uma marca que nasceu do nó na garganta de nós mulheres, de lutar por equidade, respeito e liberdade.

Coloquei no forno uma empresa de biquinis que se preocupa em dizer todos os dias, para essas mulheres, o quanto elas não devem acreditar em um padrão.

Quero ir contra tudo o que eles tentam nos convencer que é o certo e o que é bonito.

Quero agregar na representatividade de mulheres de todas as raças e biotipos.

Quero que minhas roupas tenham o nome de mulheres que lutaram por nós.

E o resultado são maiôs e biquinis que se chamam Curie, ou D’arc ou Kahlo, e trazem na força do nome, todo o agradecimento pelo que já foi conquistado e a esperança do que se ainda há de conquistar. 

E mais do que falar, nós acreditamos e queremos nos comprometer a educar.

Nosso caminho ainda é longo, já sei que não posso mudar o mundo inteiro, mas sei que posso mudar o mundo de muitas mulheres.
