RioMag: Nos conte um pouquinho sobre você!

Noliany: Venho da cidade de São Gonçalo, no Rio de Janeiro. Acabei de fazer 24 anos e não tive um começo fácil; tive que passar por diversas questões, como a dificuldade financeira em diversos sentidos, bullying dentro e fora de casa, abuso sexual e até mesmo um dos mais recentes quando ainda estava no Brasil: Relacionamento abusivo.

Acredito que boa parte dos brasileiros enfrentem desafios semelhantes e também passem por muitas destas questões citadas, talvez até mais do que possamos imaginar.

Venho de uma família muito humilde com sua origem no nordeste do Brasil, que tentou se adaptar no Rio de Janeiro mesmo em meio às dificuldades, onde ainda batalham diariamente. Meus pais fizeram o que podiam para me pagar uma escola particular. Acabei presenciando muitas coisas desde muito cedo, em épocas que não sabia e/ou ainda não tinha as devidas respostas.

Desde então, foco em auto desenvolvimento, pois acredito que todo acontecimento possui alguma oportunidade e cabe a nós mesmos as transformar em crescimento.

Atualmente estou morando em Bangkok – Tailândia, um país que me recebeu muito bem e pelo qual acabei me apaixonando. O povo consegue ser tão compassivo com os demais e em alguns pontos se assemelham bastante ao Brasil.

RioMag: Como foi sua entrada no mundo da moda?

Noliany: Quando ainda criança, eu sonhava com a carreira de ser artista.  Ouvia de pessoas até mesmo na rua que eu deveria ser modelo e comecei desfilando aos 7 anos de idade. Na época me desanimei após um tio próximo fazer bullying e acabei desenvolvendo uma espécie de negação ao ser modelo, o que me levou a não querer mais a carreira por alguns anos.

Aos 11 anos havia tentado novamente, mas nada muito sério por também ainda não acreditar em mim mesma. Foi de fato aos 17 que eu senti que poderia existir algo muito bom nesse caminho e que eu deveria mesmo tentar.

Na época recebi críticas constantes de alguns familiares. A iniciativa foi minha e eu saí em busca de contatos de fotógrafos no facebook. Fui os adicionando, trocando mensagens em busca de oportunidades para ser fotografada.

Sozinha como modelo no Rio de Janeiro não fiz muitos trabalhos, mas ao longo de 2 anos e meio consegui fotos suficientes para ter um portfólio e sair do Brasil.

Foi então quando conheci uma agência mãe que me apresentou para trabalhar em Shanghai, Jakarta, New Delhi, Hong Kong e Bangkok. Tive trabalhos em outras cidades e países diferentes, como Mumbai na India e Colombo na Sri Lanka.

Atualmente estou morando fora há 3 anos e quase 6 meses – o que é mais um sonho se realizando. 

Trabalhos como modelo na Asia. Cada país tem seu estilo!

RioMag: Na sua opinião, o que torna você uma modelo de sucesso? Quais são as características fortes do seu perfil, personalidade?

Noliany: Descobrir que o suporte que preciso pode vir de dentro me deu outra perspectiva de vida.

Não acredito nas limitações temporárias e sim em as trabalhar.

Quando saí do Brasil eu sequer sabia dizer algo em inglês, mas eu sei que posso me desenvolver e que algo assim não precisa nos definir.

Enxergo tudo como sendo um processo de trabalho interno e acredito que o que me traz melhores resultados é o ato de estar sempre enfrentando os meus medos e não pegar leve com eles.

A nossa mente tende a nos trazer diversas limitações, padrões de pensamentos que aprendemos com os demais e não é por isso que essa é a verdade.

O medo é apenas o que ele é, o medo.

Busco estar sempre em contato, mesmo sem ter religião, com o que me parece ser uma força inexplicável e que pode ser encontrada dentro de todos nós, tenho muita fé e foco em seguir a minha intuição.

RioMag: Por que a Ásia? Que tipo de trabalho você mais realiza na Ásia? Como são os clientes? O que eles buscam? Como é a concorrência?

Noliany: Eu não escolhi a Ásia, mas por algum motivo parece que fui escolhida por esse lindo continente!

É onde encontrei algumas das maiores amizades e venho aprendendo bastante também com os asiáticos, admiro a riqueza da cultura de cada país e a espiritualidade que cada povo tem.

Trabalho bastante em campanhas, catálogos, comerciais, websites – fotografias em geral, faço alguns desfiles e também atuo em vídeos de música para alguns cantores/músicos.

Mesmo estando na Ásia alguns clientes também são da Europa, bem como de outros continentes.

Os asiáticos em geral variam muito dependendo do país.

Em New Delhi, por exemplo, eles são por vezes rudes, mas em geral somos bem cuidados pelos clientes e até mesmo muitas vezes de forma carinhosa, a questão maior geralmente é com a agência.

Cada país também tem um mercado diferente, os clientes tendem a querer alguém que se assemelhe fisicamente ao povo deles e ou que faça parte do padrão de beleza idealizado por cada país. Tem países na Ásia que não valorizam muito os modelos fashions e já tem outros países onde esse é o maior interesse, normalmente tanto o comercial quanto o fashion coincidem nos mesmos países.

Eu não acredito tanto assim em concorrência, pois cada cliente tende a almejar uma coisa diferente a cada momento e ao mesmo tempo são diversos e diversos clientes. Caso algum modelo seja parecido, provavelmente é porque a demanda para aquele perfil também seja maior!

RioMag: Quais os desafios da vida na Ásia?

Noliany: O desafio da paciência, caso você não seja uma pessoa muito tranquila por conta de muitos não saberem inglês, mas acredito que esse seja o primeiro dilema na vida dos imigrantes em geral.

Não vejo isso como uma dificuldade, porque normalmente os asiáticos se esforçam pra dar um jeito de ajudar e de se comunicar de outras maneiras…

Como sempre varia de país para país, eu sei que ouvi casos negativos da India e Indonésia, mas ainda assim nunca vi de fato violência de qualquer tipo e sei que dependendo do país posso até andar com um computador na cabeça as 3 horas da manhã que vão no máximo rir.

Considero a qualidade de vida de cidades como Shanghai e Bangkok melhores do que as do Brasil em diversos aspectos. E claro, tem a questão da comida apimentada, mas ainda assim é algo que você aprende onde e o que comprar.

RioMag: Quais os pontos fortes da experiência? E os pontos fracos?

Noliany: Os pontos fortes para mim são principalmente as oportunidades de conhecer as diversas naturezas, as culturas e as pessoas em suas belezas diferentes, poder ter novos aprendizados…

É totalmente diferente perguntar o que se passa na Rússia para um russo por exemplo.

Desbravar o mundo é sempre muito bom em termos de auto crescimento.

Uma vez que você deixa a sua zona de conforto para trás você passa a expandir a sua consciência e sem dúvida vai sempre retornar uma pessoa diferente. Passamos a vivenciar literalmente realidades diferentes.

Viajar não tem preço pra mim e nem comparação com qualquer outra coisa no mundo, então isso sem dúvida já faz qualquer experiência valer à pena.

Agora os pontos fracos com certeza são aquelas ligações insubstituíveis, no meu caso eu sinto muitas saudades do meu irmão principalmente – que tem apenas 6 anos.

Com certeza almejei estar presente na vida dele e dando apoio, talvez do modo que não tive, mas aqui estou eu do outro lado mundo focando em construir um vida melhor – em parte também ainda por querer poder dar isso à ele.

Ainda assim não é algo fácil de racionalizar quando se trata de sentimentos e nada vai se equiparar a um abraço, a uma presença.

RioMag: Quais são seus hobbies? O que você faz nas horas vagas? Sabemos que você escreve!

Noliany: Sim, escrever é um dos meus principais hobbies e almejo poder vir a fazer algo sério com isso futuramente também!

Meus hobbies são dançar, fotografar, ler, meditar, me retirar em contato com a natureza e ouvir música;

Na verdade por serem coisas importantes pra mim, tento até a levar de forma séria cada uma delas. Buscando me desenvolver não somente como modelo. Amo ajudar as pessoas e quando posso procuro acrescentar de algum jeito, então já fiz coisas desde leitura de mapa astral (astrologia) de graça até leitura de tarot pros outros. Ajudar simplesmente me faz feliz e já passei horas em diversos momentos dando conselhos!

RioMag: Como você se vê no futuro?

Noliany: Não defino o futuro, porém me vejo muito mais desenvolvida como atriz, dançarina, modelo e também tenho interesse de melhorar na fotografia.

Se eu puder vir a trabalhar com algumas dessas coisas de modo ainda mais centrado, já seria ótimo!

Busco harmonizar tais paixões com o sonho de poder ajudar as pessoas e espero poder vir a fazer alguma diferença, tenho muitas ideias inclusive para livros…

Mas penso que caso as primeiras opções não se sucedam como gostaria, ainda assim tenho facilidade com a psicologia – costumo estudar por mim mesma como se também fosse um hobby, avançar nesses estudos também seria uma das probabilidades.

RioMag:  O que você tem a dizer sobre as meninas que sonham com uma carreira internacional como a sua?

Noliany: Que se você sonha, só pelo fato dessa chama existir dentro de você, é possível!

Tudo é. Claro que não cai do céu e precisa de muito trabalho e esforço, mas se for o que você verdadeiramente almeja, você vai focar em correr atrás e fazer dar certo.

Então siga em frente e não se importe com o que alguém puder falar de negativo, se mantém centrada e focada no seu caminho que você consegue qualquer coisa.

Muito pé no chão é preciso pra saber o momento certo pro quando e o que fazer, pé no chão também pra ver o que realmente você pode conquistar e basicamente lutar por isso.
