RIO MODEL:  Você já tem algumas experiências como modelo, mas nos conte como você se sente agora, embarcando para uma temporada internacional?

Sinto que eu estou prestes a mudar muito, e consequentemente a minha vida também, porque eu sempre encaro os desafios que eu passo como uma forma de amadurecimento, e esse desafio é do tipo que eu quero chegar até o final e dizer “Eu dei o meu melhor” independente do resultado. Sempre foi um grande sonho e agora está realmente acontecendo.. É uma mistura de medo e confiança o tempo inteiro, está tudo muito intenso e eu não durmo há dias, mas eu tento respirar fundo o tempo inteiro.

RIO MODEL: O que você acha da indústria da moda na China? Sabemos que é um mercado bem desafiador para modelos negras, mas nós queremos inovar o mercado e quebrar barreiras! Como você se sente fazendo parte disso?

Todas as conquistas das mulheres negras se deram dentro de grandes desafios e na moda não é diferente.
Eu encaro como uma oportunidade de poder chegar, mostrar o meu trabalho e com ele dizer “Nós também somos lindas e profissionais!”.
É uma grande responsabilidade porque de onde eu venho as meninas negras não tem essa oportunidade e por isso não se enxergam nesse espaço porque existem diversos bloqueios.
Não faço ideia de como vou me sentir na China, mas sei o que eu quero transmitir e motivar quando estiver lá.

Com certeza não. rs
Ainda faltam alguns dias para a viagem, mas eu já sinto saudade do clima, a comida, familiares e amigos.
Quando paro para pensar nas pessoas que vou deixar aqui dói muito.
Tive uma grande parceira no caminho que trilhei para chegar até aqui e sem dúvida é o meu ponto mais fraco. Vai ser muito difícil, porém é hora de sair da zona de conforto.

Eu ainda estou em desenvolvimento, mas sempre tento passar alguma coisa quando eu desfilo ou fotografo. Um olhar, uma firmeza ou a energia que eu sentir na hora. Acredito que isso pode ter influenciado.
