Esse é o caso da poluição! Muitas vezes nós ligamos esses agentes apenas a problemas respiratórios, mas não é só isso que ela prejudica. A Sociedade Brasileira de Dermatologia aponta que a poluição pode causar a degradação do colágeno, substância que sustenta a pele. A falta dele deixa a pele ressecada, opaca e até mesmo causa envelhecimento precoce.

Sempre limpe o rosto

Após passar um dia trabalhando fora, sabe aquela água suja que vemos quando lavamos o rosto? Nem sempre ela é só maquiagem. Lavar o rosto é essencial para reduzir os efeitos dos poluentes.

De manhã, lave o rosto com um sabonete específico para o seu tipo de pele e, à noite, capriche na limpeza. Mas cuidado, não exagere no uso de esfoliantes ou produtos muito agressivos, que podem irritar a pele e causar mais problemas. Aposte em produtos que limpem profundamente, mas sem ressecar.

Aposte nos antioxidantes

Antioxidantes são nutrientes que podem diminuir os problemas causados pela poluição, como a falta de colágeno, hiperpigmentação e surgimento de acne. Hoje em dia, podemos encontrar antioxidantes em diversos produtos de beleza como água termal, óleos e demaquilantes.

Além disso, você também pode colocar mais antioxidantes na sua dieta! Aveia, frutas vermelhas e saladas podem ser ótimos na hora de devolver o aspecto saudável à pele. Vitaminas D e C também são recomendadas para combater os efeitos dos poluentes.

Às vezes, nós temos o impulso de não passar protetor solar quando o dia está nublado. Mas o que você pode não saber é que a poluição não só afeta a pele diretamente, ela também contribui para erosão da camada de ozônio, que nos protege dos raios ultravioletas do sol. Sem essa proteção, ficamos mais expostos aos malefícios desses raios, até mesmo em dias escuros.

Então, aplique um protetor solar de no mínimo FPS 30 e com proteção contra raios UVA e UVB todas as manhãs, antes de sair de casa. Preste atenção nos componentes do protetor, se ele tiver ação hidratante também será ótimo para a pele.

A poluição pode enfraquecer muito as barreiras naturais de proteção da sua pele. Se ela não for bem cuidada, com o tempo, pode perder a capacidade de se auto proteger e manter a hidratação. Por isso, é muito importante passar um bom hidratante diariamente na pele, principalmente se você vive em áreas com muita poluição no ar.

Como você provavelmente já está cansada de saber, mas nós sempre podemos relembrar, beber a quantidade certa de água no cotidiano também é essencial para manter a hidratação em todas as partes do corpo, fazendo uma diferença enorme na saúde da pele.
